Gecko Ltd is a specialist company managing direct mailing activities on behalf of our clients, this includes print management, digital print and software development services.

We recognize that our activities have an impact on those around us and the environment in terms of the use of raw materials. emissions. to air and water and waste generation, we seek to minimize this as far as is reasonably practicable. We are committed to:

• Continual improvement in our environmental performance 

• Preventing pollution

• Compliance with all environmental legislation, regulations and relevant codes of practice 

• Dealing with our suppliers and employees in a responsible way

• Building up good relationship with our local community

It is our policy to:

• Use recycled material whenever these can be commercially justified

• Make efficient use of natural resources by conserving energy and water, minimizing waste and recycling where possible

• Meet our duty of care requirements in relation to waste by ensuring the safe keeping, transportation and subsequent recovery or disposal of waste

• Keep transport use to a minimum and regularly service vehicles to maintain their efficiency 

• Work with our suppliers to ensure they recognize and reduce the environmental impact of their products and transportation

• Encourage our customers to use products and services in an environmentally sensitive way 

• Monitor progress and review our environmental performance against targets and objectives

The Gecko Management Team will review this policy on an annual basis, taking account of any changes within legislation and our organization and other factors

We will communicate this policy to all our employees, who will be given appropriate training to raise awareness or environmental issues. This policy will also be made available to our suppliers, partners, 3rd parties, clients and the public upon request.
